Otherwise, an index can also feature a rate of return that follows a particular index with a cap on the returns.<br \/><br \/>From Southeast Asia, some of the offerings of indices are from\u00a0<strong>\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u662f\u65b0\u4ea4\u6240\u3001<\/strong> <strong>Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (MDEX<\/strong>), and <strong>Thailand Futures Exchange (TFEX). <\/strong>These indexes are crucial to the region as it provides valid benchmarks against which to measure investment performance for a strategy.<\/p>\n<p>To understand more about Southeast Asian Indices, this article will introduce several popular choices as well as the performance of these indexes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ecfe8d elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9ecfe8d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (MDEX)\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9b000d8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9b000d8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n<p>MDEX offers\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bursamalaysia.com\/trade\/our_products_services\/derivatives\/equity_derivatives\/ftse_bursa_malaysia_klci_options\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index Futures<\/a>\u00a0(KLCI), the index allows traders to gain exposure to underlying FBM KLCI constituents, which is the performance of the 30 largest companies from the region. In 2009, KLCI was enhanced to ensure that the index was robust in measuring the national economy with a growing linkage to the economy. \u00a0\u00a0<br \/><br \/>The two main eligibility requirements for trading the index are free float and liquidity. These indices are differentiated based on their purposes and underlying constituents. For example, SGX Index Edge (iEdge) and Scientific Beta produce a series of indices targeted to reduce carbon emissions and are designed to help institutional investors benchmark performance while aligning with their sustainability mandates. Most recently, increased interest in ESG performance, ESG factors, and ESG investments have also increased the value of these innovative indexes. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Some of the IEdge indices include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>iEdge SG ESG Index<\/li>\n<li>iEdge SG ESF Transparency Index<\/li>\n<li>iEdge Singapore Low Carbon Index<\/li>\n<li>iEdge OCBC Singapore Low Carbon Select 50-Capped Index<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Apart from these indexes, FTSE Straits Times Index is also a popular option.
